This is a terrible photo of a mysterious antique of which I have no recollection of. The type is pretty spiffy tho.

Sorry for the blurred image. The majority of these shots were taken inside an antique “mall.” To be honest, I’ve never understood that term. Anywho, if you ever find yourself in one of these menagerie shops and need to take some snapshots, make sure you ask the owner if you can take photos there. I have known quite a few people who did not ask and were kicked out promptly.

I love vintage advertising. I have a meager collection of them currently, need to seek out more. The type on this one is fun, and it’s from Venice! I miss Italy now. :’(

Most of these Found Type Friday images are from an antique store, taken originally for a typography class. We had to find old type that wasn’t used anymore for anything and make three variations of it. I will post some examples tomorrow for Scanturday.
